Am currently reading this interesting book by Sasha Abramsky: well written, interesting analysis of how Obama thinks, the complexity of the man, etc - really recommend.
Came across an interesting piece of comment: "the past never entirely determines the present and future, that there is always room to grow among the shadows cast by history". This is what drives evolution and why there is always hope.

good morning
as promised, my last experience in Singapore: as much as i have adored the Fullerton japanese (set) lunch whose quality, taste and freshness is simply out of this world, i must say that the calamiri fritti-oily & tasteless pizza of Prego (Fairmont Hotel) have been a masterpiece of disappointment
I go to Singapore mostly for work, on average every other week. I'm still looking for these nice little places where you get good food - home made type. So, if you have good addresses, i'm all for it
have a great week end

i'll try to feed in tips, obviously subjective, as regularly as possible
let me start with my last travels - Jakarta and Singapore
Jakarta - if you really have nothing better to do, really nothing, you can try venture to Bandung. Otherwise, just enjoy whatever you are doing ; Prego: extremely overpriced for surprisingly average quality, but if you like "proximity" service, you'll be happy
Global Doctors in case of emergency: just go
Singapore: i'll do that another time
